Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. Her mother and father have both been English. She was born in the south London Council Estate and attended The Brit School aged 14. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was awarded. While at the academy, she performed in a number of stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. In the years since, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. The year 2008 saw her landed the role in the role of Bambi in The ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in episodes two and three. Madekwe also played the lead character in How to lose friends & alienate people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in the year 2008. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes on The CW, and was later removed from the air. The actress was selected in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe who had been a series regular in the two previous seasons, had decided to quit the show following a guest appearance in the first episode of the new season. She played Tituba on the television show Salem from 2014 to 2016. In June 2012, the actress was married to her long-time love, actor Iddo Goldberg. In addition to Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared together on Salem and he had part in the show with her. the show on TV.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was born into a huge family living in Hamilton, Ontario. Four of her older brothers were present as well and included twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were who were all extremely active, took part in hockey during the winter months and played baseball in the summer, so they grew up mostly in parks and arenas. Ashley was not a walker, but she danced. At age two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was hooked on dance immediately. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions of tap, jazz ballet, hip hop, Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe, until she finished in high school. All of the important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the honor of "top individualist".
