April Bowlby
April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American model, actress and singer. She has been known for her role as Kandi in the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby has a long history in American acting. Her most famous parts include Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva (a legal comedy/fantasy television series), and Kandi as portrayed on Two and a Half Men. Her first job was modeling, then films and TV series. Following her appearance as an extra in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as in single episodes of other series, her debut on TV was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Her most memorable part was Kandi as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's character in the role of Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her international recognition. She played the character of Rita Farr/Elastigirl. She was a frequent character in the American show Titans. A spin-off from the show Doom Patrol will see her reprising the character. Bowlby has also appeared in TV movies Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. After appearing as a character in The Slammin Salmon (which was her first film) along with From Prada, to Nada she debuted in the big screen with All Roads Lead Home. She began her studies in French as well as Ballet at Moorpark College. Then she determined to study acting. She studied Drama in the class of Ivana Chobbuck and landed an important role on the TV series (Kandi for Two and a Half Men) shortly from her Hollywood debut audition. Bowlby has appeared as a guest on several TV series, such as CSI: NY which featured Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. She also appeared as Meg in the movie How I Met Your Mother. Bowlby is currently playing the role in the role of Natasha in the role of a 12-year-old girl in All Roads Lead Home. This 2007 film tells the story of a girl losing her mother after an automobile accident. Bowlby has been cast in the upcoming 2008 comedy film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. Los Angeles is her home. She has red natural hair and blue-green eyes. She's a single mother without children.
