Sharp was born in Rochester, New York, Sharp was an avid musician and was a clarinet player the piano, cello, and clarinet at the world-class Hochstein School of Music. Sharp was awarded a full award for The Boston Conservatory for her passion for school theater. Cum Laude, where she received a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Sharp set her sights on the stage. She was part of her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp played Abyssinia and Aida on stage, as well. Sharp is a performer who has performed on screen as well as the stage, is currently working on a number of original projects. Sharp is still performing and is in the process of putting together an album of full length. Sharp is a fan of exercising. She is active by doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp lives with her husband and children living in Los Angeles.
